Josh Yoder

Co-Founder

I'm Josh Yoder, a passionate filmmaker and storyteller based out of Southern California. I earned an associate's degree in Radio and Television, where I learned the importance of storytelling. This early exposure ignited my love for storytelling through visual media, which propelled me to Biola University’s Snyder School of Cinema and Media Arts. During my childhood, my grandparents struggled with memory loss. After realizing the importance of storytelling I’ve recognized the impact their stories could have had. The stories I lost have inspired me through this business to capture the stories of others before it’s too late. I hope to continue my education while capturing the stories that risk going untold.

Co-Founder

I'm Andreas Johnson an aspiring filmmaker in Southern California who wants to tell great stories! I'm currently a student at Biola University's Snyder School of Cinema and Media Arts. The idea for Remembrance came to me while working as a landscaper during my high school years. My client, Ms. D (76) provided me with a steady stream of work on her property, while entertaining me with stories of her very interesting life. One day she mentioned that she wished someone would just sit down with her and record them. The idea for Remembrance was born! Preserving not only the stories but the tellers’ voice, facial expressions, mannerisms and laughter is a gift to family members. In the busyness of life, we sometimes forget to ask questions like “What is your favorite childhood memory?” of our parents and grandparents. Keeping those precious memories and stories alive for the rest of time through the medium of film is what Remembrance is all about!
